Join Our Team

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to lead our second-shift manufacturing team in Grenada, Mississippi. This position is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are achieved while fostering a positive and engaged work environment.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication skills, manufacturing experience, and a passion for developing employees and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production employees during the second shift.
  • Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.
  • Promote and enforce all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Monitor production performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and cost.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members to achieve performance goals.
  • Conduct shift meetings and communicate production priorities, safety updates, and operational changes.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve production issues.
  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate repairs with the maintenance team when needed.
  • Maintain accurate production records, labor reporting, and shift documentation.
  • Address employee concerns and support a positive, team-oriented work environment.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and waste reduction.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Experience managing production schedules and meeting performance metrics.
  • Ability to motivate employees while maintaining accountability.
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and make sound decisions under pressure.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supervising production teams in plastics, injection molding, or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and manufacturing best practices.
  • Experience with ERP or manufacturing software systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
