Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for a friendly, dependable, and service-focused Server to join our dining team at Hillcrest Highlands of Gretna.

What You’ll Do

As a Server, you will use your menu knowledge, service skills, and attention to detail to help create a positive dining experience for residents.

You will:

  • Greet residents warmly and provide friendly, attentive meal service.

  • Present menu choices and assist residents with meal selections.

  • Take food orders accurately using the point-of-sale system.

  • Deliver meals to residents in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner.

  • Serve beverages and assist with dining requests.

  • Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming dining areas.

  • Clean tables and dining-room spaces before, during, and after meal service.

  • Stock products and supplies to established par levels.

  • Complete daily dining-service checklists.

  • Assist with cleaning the bistro and other food-service areas.

  • Follow proper infection-control, sanitation, and food-safety standards.

  • Assist with deep cleaning of equipment as scheduled.

  • Clean dining-service equipment, including the ice cream machine, according to established procedures.

  • Work collaboratively with culinary and community team members to keep meal service running smoothly.

  • Respond to resident questions, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.

  • Assist with additional dining-service responsibilities as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
