Summary The Technician I supports TSMD’s laboratories and technical teams with sample preparation, test preparation and execution, machine and tooling setup, data analysis, product processing, and project support. Position Profile Full-Time, Non-Exempt Reporting Relationships The Technician I reports to their Area Supervisor or Engineering Manager. Major Duties and Responsibilities Prepares samples and processes products. Sets up tooling, equipment, assemblies, and experiments. Collects data per work instructions or experimental plans. Prepares reports with data and analysis. Supports senior level technicians and engineers with project execution. Understands and adheres to all safety requirements.  Communicates identified risks to leadership and assists in resolution. Completes all 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) standards to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Maintains regular and reliable attendance. Contributes to culture through alignment with company values and code of conduct.  Maintains a positive attitude, displays enthusiasm for assigned tasks, and communicates effectively and professionally with team members. Other related duties. Education High school diploma required. Skills and Qualifications Works under general supervision. Basic computer skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft programs: Word, Excel, and Outlook. Able to keep detailed notes and well-organized data. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds on a regular and routine basis. Frequent bending and twisting required. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as defined by process.
