Â
The Material Handler is responsible for supply management and ensuring all parts and supplies needed for production are maintained.Â
Â
 Scope of Work/Tasks:Â
- Receive incoming shipments and document in CMI Excel Receiving Log
- Damaged parts arrival – handle as required.
- Received packing list to office daily
- Order parts daily as requested while also maintaining inventory of stockÂ
- Coordinate local parts pick up as required
- Minimize individual runs based on needs
- Keeping proper documentation filing paperwork for billing and recordsÂ
- Overall upkeep and organization of shipping area as well as exterior storage pods
- Processing RMA returns as needed.Â
- Other tasks include Assist in varying production needs as required
-  If/when slow – get with Beyea on assisting others
- Â Snow removal/salt spreading
- Â Maintain left over pallet organization/discard
- Â Forklift maintenance schedule, daily upkeep
- Â LP and welding tanks monitoring for usage and ordering
- Daily shop clean up, empty trash, sweep floors, and organize bins
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Microsoft office products, Word and Excel a must
- Good organizational skills
- Able to multi-task
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge and experience with hand and power tools
- Forklift Certification or experience
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Proven experience in material handling or a related environment.
• Strong attendance record and above-average computer proficiency.
• Willingness to work overtime and participate in inventory activities as needed.
• Ability to pass forklift certification and operate equipment safely.
• Capable of lifting 35 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and interpret production documents such as schedules, drawings, and orders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
