DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
This position may be required to perform additional tasks, responsibilities, or duties as assigned:
- Direct and coordinate daily warehouse functions, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce costs, including cycle counts and reconciliation.
- Analyze workflows and implement continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions for staff.
- Prepare and manage budgets for warehouse operations, forecasting requirements and scheduling expenditures to meet financial objectives.
- Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and customer service, to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
- Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports on warehouse operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet business needs
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations management or a related field, with a proven track record of success
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
- Have a good understanding of Inventory management system and shipping logistics systems
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and equipment?
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks?
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills?
