The Role:Â
The Fulfillment Center Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations across wholesale, inbound, outbound, returns, inventory control, or kitting functions. This role sets the pace for the team, ensures adherence to SOPs, and drives performance and accuracy. The Lead trains, supervises, and motivates team members while maintaining compliance with company policies and safety standards.Â
What You’ll Do:Â
• Lead teams in wholesale, inbound, outbound, returns, inventory control, or kitting responsibilities per Jazz and client-specific SOPsÂ
• Ensure accurate put-away of products into reserve and drop zone locationsÂ
• Oversee replenishment of active locations based on system-generated tasksÂ
• Manage kitting operations including re-labeling, re-working, and product assemblyÂ
• Monitor and ensure timely processing of returns in accordance with client requirementsÂ
• Arrive prior to shift start to prepare workload distributionÂ
• Train and guide team members in shipping and receiving functionsÂ
• Ensure adherence to scheduled break/lunch periods and time clock proceduresÂ
• Support supervisor in achieving team productivity and goals Â
• Enforce company policies, safety protocols, sanitation standards, and ethical guidelinesÂ
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environmentÂ

What You’ve Done:Â
• Earned a high school diploma or equivalentÂ
• 2+ years of experience in distribution or warehouse operationsÂ
• 1+ years of previous lead or supervisory role in a warehouse settingÂ
• Gained proficiency in warehouse management systems and operational SOPsÂ
Nice to Haves:Â
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)Â
• Experience with kitting or product rework operationsÂ
• Familiarity with Cart.com systems and workflowsÂ
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:Â
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reachingÂ
• Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbsÂ
• Ability to maintain focus and attention for extended periodsÂ
• Willingness to work overtime as neededÂ
• Exposure to warehouse machinery and variable environmental conditionsÂ
