GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Production Scheduler manages the daily builds schedule for the production lines assigned. Responsible for sequencing the build in accordance to customer demand, material availability, operations constraints and loading schedule. This position has daily cross functional discussions to optimize the production line efficiency and ensure alignment to SIOP volumes.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Develop a production schedule for Club Car vehicles in line with SIOP targets. Â Â
- Balance existing labor and machine capacity to maximize efficiency, production throughput, and final mile zone delivery.
- Maintain Scheduling data base and Club Car’s Production Calendar corresponding with operation hours.
- Examine all aspects of the scheduling process, including historical data, to improve production processes wherever possible
- Collaborate with Material Planning, Engineering, Operations, and NPD Project teams, etc, to develop and maintain critical path schedules.
- Issue notification to necessary partners regarding critical order schedule changes.Â
- Prepare and distribute production capacity reports per department Key Performances Metrics
- Expedite Operations that delay schedules and alters schedule to meet unforeseen conditions or parts shortages and constraints as communicated from the Material Planning TeamÂ
- Continuous improvement to scheduling processes to achieve shipping performance, inventory turns, and manufacturing costs, support facility related projects.
- Additional Job Duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, management, or relevant field preferred
Experience:Â
- 3 years of Material Scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
- APICS (CPIM) or equivalent certification preferred. Â Â
- Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP and lean manufacturing processes.
