Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality echocardiograms to support the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions
- Evaluate patients and adapt imaging techniques to obtain accurate diagnostic results
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient care
- Review and communicate imaging findings according to established protocols
- Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and a positive care experience throughout each exam
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete required exam-related processes
- Assist with equipment care, troubleshooting, and quality assurance activities
- Support department accreditation, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous professional development
- Maintain required certifications and stay current with industry standards
Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited sonography or radiography program.

License(s)/Certification(s):
- Current certification as one of the following:
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Or
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
