We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Administrator to join our growing Governance Services team in Jersey.

In this role, you'll play a key role in providing a wide range of administration services to a high quality and diverse portfolio of clients in the provision of corporate and fiduciary services.

About the role

  • Provide ongoing administration support to the team as required for the administration of a diverse portfolio of corporate and fiduciary clients

  • Assist in the delivery of high-quality client service and ensure client relationships are managed effectively

  • Assist with transactions and day-to-day administration in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures

  • Manage and prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines are met and work is completed accurately and efficiently

  • Assist with work in progress (WIP) monitoring and debt collection activities where required

  • Participate in client due diligence and client acceptance processes

  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, intermediaries and colleagues

About you

  • Previous administration experience in corporate, trust or fiduciary administration is ideal

  • You'll be motivated to study or studying towards a relevant professional qualification (such as STEP of CGI)

  • Demonstratable interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships

  • A high level of organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

  • A proactive and positive approach to learning and professional development

  • A flexible and collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • A genuine desire to build a successful career within the financial services industry
