We're looking for an organised, motivated and patient-focused Medical Administrator to join our Clinical Administration team.

This is an excellent opportunity to begin or develop a career in healthcare administration. You'll support consultants and Clinical Secretaries by producing clinical correspondence, managing patient records, coordinating appointments and investigations, and helping ensure our clinical services run smoothly.

No two days are the same. You'll work across a variety of administrative tasks while providing flexible support to the wider team during busy periods. Full training will be provided in our electronic patient record system, medical terminology and clinical administration processes, helping you build the skills and experience needed to progress to a Clinical Secretary role.

This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week. We are committed to supporting flexible working where possible and welcome applications from candidates who wish to discuss alternative working patterns.

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Communicates confidently and professionally.
  • Enjoys working as part of a team.
  • Is confident using IT systems and willing to learn new skills.
  • Can prioritise workloads in a busy environment.
  • Is committed to delivering excellent service to patients and colleagues.

Previous administrative or healthcare experience is helpful but not essential—we're looking for people with the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.

What we offer

This is a developmental role with a clear progression pathway to Clinical Secretary. You'll receive structured training, ongoing support and opportunities to develop your knowledge and responsibilities as you grow within the role.

If you're looking for a rewarding career where you can make a real difference behind the scenes in patient care, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Private health insurance for yourself
  • Pension scheme delivered by a long-established local pension specialist (up to 5% matched employer contribution)
  • Life assurance scheme
  • Income protection scheme

  • Wellbeing allowance of £300/annum (towards gym/better commute scheme etc)
