About the Role:
Havenova Home Care Solutions is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Elderly Care Aide/CNA to join our growing team in Guilford, CT. Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
- Monitor and record patient vitals, health changes, and daily activities
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure patient safety
- Administer medication reminders and follow individualized care plans
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Offer companionship and emotional support to elderly clients and their families
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment for clients
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and healthcare team members regarding patient status
Requirements:
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Connecticut
- Prior experience in elderly care, home care, or a long-term care setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of personal care techniques, safety protocols, and infection control
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
