Résumé

 

The purpose of the HSE Manager is to promote and implement the BIA HSE policy, Safety culture and HSE system at the national level. 

 

Quelles seront vos responsabilités?

 

  • Risk Assessment: ensure control measures are established, audit done on regular basis for quality, hazards identification.
  • Legal compliance: identification and implementation of legal requirements linked to HSE. This includes update of all necessary tolls and actions.
  • Implementation of the training matrix for all matters linked to HSE. This includes induction for newcomers and follow-up of trainings.
  • HSE System: Ensure the implementation and improvement of HSE management system.
  • Doing focus on assessment in order to execute an activity in a safe manner: Ensure the Job Hazards analysis (JHA) is done for all specific task and control implementation before task execution. Ensure that SOPs are performed on a regular basis + training on SOP.
  • Under supervision of Regional HSE Manager, execution of inspection plan. Design of identification and summary sheet for tools/equipment and chemicals products as well as their communication internally.
  • Accidents/incidents at work: ensure reporting, conduct investigation, root cause analysis and identification of preventives/corrections actions.
  • Reporting: reporting on weekly basis to Regional HSE Manager as well as KPI analysis and action plans.
  • Emergency plan: design emergency plan for each site, ensure periodic emergency drills are performed and make recommendation for improvement. Ensure local, expat and visitor staff are effectively trained on emergency procedure.
  • Ensure the accurate management of personal protection elements (PPE).
  • Ensure that the security management system is followed in the countries and propose actions for continuous improvement. 

 

Quel est le profil recherché?

 

  • Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent by experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar position.
  • Previous experience in mining industry is a plus.
  • Proficient with MS Office tools.
  • Operations, Process, and QHSE focus.
