Responsibilities of Truss Builder:
路 Truss Builder鈥檚 primary responsibility is to build roof trusses for Clayton Home Building Facilities.
路 Builder must be able to read a cut sheet and blueprint to build trusses that meet the approved standards regulated by the NTA.
路 Check parts on assigned table/press to ensure proper set up of jig, cord, parts, and nails according to individual truss blueprint.
路 Ensure proper nail placement, overhang and king post on every unit produced.
路 Be able to meet production requirements in a timely manner while also ensuring the quality of each truss.
路 Be able to repeatedly lift over 50 pounds.
路 Be able to operate a hydraulic press.
路 Be able to work well with a partner.
路 Demonstrates honesty and integrity. Has a strong work ethic. Displays a great attitude and models teamwork.
路 Reports directly to Truss Team Leader and Truss Department Area Coordinator.
