Provide technical expertise on all breakdowns/ Services cases escalated by the countries and the Central Teams along with developing product knowledge and expertise of BIA’s after market teams.

What will be your responsibilities?
Â
1. General Responsibilities for OEMs:
- Technical Support Liaison: Act as the main point of contact between OEMs and BIA, ensuring effective communication and follow-up on all technical support issues.
- Maximize Claim Recovery: Focus on maximizing claim recovery through state-of-the-art claim files and accurate tracking of all relevant issues.
- Compliance with OEM Standards: Ensure that BIA strictly complies with OEM standards, tools, and processes, maintaining high levels of quality and timely technical support for internal customers.
- Technical Support Excellence: Provide the highest quality technical support for the aftermarket community, ensuring that all claims and technical obligations are adhered to.
- Effective Feedback Processes: Develop and maintain robust feedback processes to support ongoing technical and quality issues with the OEM.
- Technical Information Management: Ensure proper management and distribution of all technical information from OEMs to BIA, and monitor its flow within the organization.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to BIA management that include statistics and progress updates on technical issues.
- Claim File Management: Ensure that claim files are thorough, timely, and compliant, focusing on maximizing claim recovery.
- Regular Meetings and Reporting: Conduct regular meetings and provide monthly reports regarding technical support issues, with a focus on key performance indicators like FCs and TSIs.
- Technical Investigations: Perform remote or on-site technical investigations for major issues, coordinating with the BIA local team, OEMs, and customers.
- Digital Solution Deployment: Support the deployment of digital solutions (e.g., SmartFleet, OEM programs) to aid in technical investigations and improvements

2. Organization & People Management:
- Best Practices Sharing: Actively promote and facilitate the sharing of best practices across countries by establishing a community of technical support teams.
- Escalation of High Urgency Issues: Promptly escalate high-priority or high-visibility issues to management when necessary to ensure swift resolution.
Who are we looking for?
Education & Experience:
- Mechanical or Electro-mechanical Engineer Diploma or equivalent in experience.
- At least minimum 10 years’ experience as a Technical Engineer and in overseas as a plus
- Accredited Komatsu equipment training and certification for big machines.
- Fluent in English, any other language is a plus.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
