What will be your responsibilities?
Â
1.General Rebuilt Workshop Foreman responsibilities
- Ensure full utilization of workshop available labour and resources to achieve planned operational targets
- Help the workshop manager to elaborate the short and mid-term operation planning taking into account parts delivery
- Daily follow up of the work carried out vs planned
- Supervise subordinates to produce quality work
- Allocate job cards and manages technicians to maximize the throughput by aligning jobs to skills sets within team
- Ensure a work quality according to Komatsu Standard Procedures developed by KRCC in the scope of the certification of the EMS shop
- Check the proper use of RESO software by the workers
2.Reporting
- Provide the Workshop Senior Supervisor with a daily report on operation
- Provide the Workshop Senior Supervisor with daily timesheets
- Provide the Workshop Senior Supervisor with core assessment / component assembly and testing reports

3.Documentations
- Keep organized detailed records and pictures of every job
- Keep detailed labor records for every job
- Keep tracks of every consumed parts

4.TrainingÂ
- Gives practical assistance, on-the-job training and technical advice to subordinates
- Maintain safe working practices – improve the safety in the workshop

Others:
- Maintain a zero tolerance to safety breaches
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment with and for the team
- Ensure time keeping is of the highest standards, and that all documentation is submitted timeously
- Ensure that the workforce is well informed and that change management is practiced. With all documentation submitted timeously

Who are we looking for?
- Craft or advanced certificate in the related field
- Good computer skills with knowledge in MS-Word, Excel, Projects
- Very good knowledge of mechanics and electricity
- Experience in the rebuild facility procedures and processesÂ
- Customer focused
- Respect for leadership and team members
- Experience with removal and installation of components
- Ability to function within a team with prior project work experience
- Good communication skills, both verbal and writing. Interpersonal skills mandatory
- At least 5 years’ experience in a fully equipped REMAN workshop dealing with mining machine component
