Job DetailsJob Location: UT - Gunnison, UT 84634Barrel Manufacturing Technician - Swing Reports to: Director of Machining Operations Full-time Monday-Thursday Swing Shift   Position Summary The position of Barrel Manufacturing Technician is an entry level position whose responsibilities include operating, milling, and drilling machines, grinders, and lathes in our machine shop. Barrel Manufacturing Technicians are responsible for the loading/unloading, maintaining part quality by recording measured dimensions, and continuous operation of various CNC equipment.  It requires attention to detail and a need to be precise and diligent in understanding and following work instructions.   What makes you great for this role Mechanically Inclined Driven to learn a skilled trade Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety Ability to be on your feet for the length of your shift Ability to lift 40 pounds and perform repetitive tasks Ability to follow procedures and directions with minimal instruction Able to work overtime as needed Team player   Job Duties & Responsibilities Operate various CNC mills and lathes Maintain part quality Keep work area & machines clean and organized Change out damaged/worn tools as necessary to maintain part quality Clocks in and out of Work Orders accurately recording production numbers Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs Maintains a safe and clean workstation Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.  Qualifications
