Physician Assistant, Marshall Medical Centers North, ER, Full time, 2nd Shift

Overview

The following statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements, which may be inherent in the position.

Provides professional care to patients presenting with a broad variety of medical or surgical complaints which range from non-urgent to emergent in nature within the scope of a physician’s assistant.

Qualifications

Education / Licensure / Certification:

·          Must have a current license in the State of Alabama, current ACLS & PALS provider.

·          Graduate of an approved program for Physician’s Assistant.

·          Possesses skills needed for functioning effectively as an emergency department physician’s assistant.

·          Maintain collaboration requirements per hospital bylaws and Alabama Board of Nursing.
