Medical Office Receptionist

Job Summary
Podiatry & Sports Medicine Associates is seeking a motivated, friendly Receptionist with strong customer service skills to join our healthcare team. As a valued member of our practice, you will work alongside providers and medical staff, supporting both administrative and clinical operations while delivering an exceptional patient experience.
 

Administrative Duties

• Greet and check in patients in a friendly, professional manner
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiries
• Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays and outstanding balances
• Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring proper documentation and compliance
• Assist with billing, faxing, scanning, and other administrative tasks
• Coordinate patient flow and notify clinical staff of patient arrivals

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience (preferred)
• Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented

Job Details

• Position: Part-Time
• Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 10:00 AM to close, plus alternating Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Work Location: In person
• Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience
