We have an exciting Shipping/Logistics Supervisor opportunity in our Guymon, OK Processing Plant. In this highly impactful role, you will be a key member of the shipping team. The Shipping/Logistics Supervisor will oversee all phases of fresh pork warehouse operations, including material handling, shipping, and freezer functions processing over 400,000 pounds daily. Acts as a hands-on supervisor for up to 20 employees, coordinating workflows, staffing, and efficiency improvements. Ensure product quality, food safety, and workplace safety standards while managing activities across designated departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for throughput targets for warehouse operations meeting the established key metrics in the department.
- Applies a systematic approach and engineering principles such as lean manufacturing to ensure workflow optimization for area of responsibility.
- Responsible for department efficiencies. Investigates, identifies, and resolves operational constraints in the process, such as on time deliveries, loads per hour and uses variances or bottlenecks and provides real-time solutions.
- Analyzes department processes and equipment to ensure operations are performed consistently.
- Utilize daily data to impact and maximize performance.
- Ensures the department is prepared and set up daily for maximum efficiencies
- Demonstrates a clear understanding of key performance indicators and the impact on operations.
- Ensures the daily shipping, material handling and freezer schedules are attained.
- Monitor work schedules to ensure manning is at the established standard to meet the daily schedule attainment. Ensures accurate record of staffing and time worked.
- Supervise all employees, monitoring work performance, directing work, ensuring accurate timekeeping, and ensuring team members are trained and qualified and performing duties safely
- Adheres to all Company policies and standard operating procedures with regards to product quality, food safety and work-place safety

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Required:
- High School or GED.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in the English language including the ability to communicate with team members at all levels within the organization and regulatory agencies
Preferred:
- College degree in an engineering field or more than four (4) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility preferably logistics or supply chain
- Excellent computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with AS400, Kronos, ADP eTime, Carlisle systems preferred but not required
SCHEDULE
- The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. After-hours, weekends and overnight travel as requested.
