RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists and monitors the removal of all debris from machinery, floors, and contact points prior to cleaning.
- Assists and ensures pre-rinse machinery and contact surfaces.
- Ensures foaming, scrubbing and rinsing the entire processing room (i.e., walls, floors, food contact surfaces, equipment) prior to sanitizing.
- Ensure all electrical equipment is locked out according to Company procedures and is bagged prior to liquid use. Ensure aisle ways and raw material storage area are swept and trash cans dumped.
- Handle chemicals used in the process of cleaning and sanitation by following safety procedures.
- Maintain and ensure proper use of equipment.
- Observe and follow GMPs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs)
- Complete all daily required paperwork.
- Any, and all additional tasks as assigned by a member of Supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Must be 18 years +.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Detail-oriented.
- Able to follow verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work as a team player and ability to work independently.
- Time management skills.
- Must be able to be certified in lock out tag out, fall protection and powered industrial trucks required of the position.
Preferred:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent years of experience.
- Prior food plant sanitation experience.
- General knowledge of Chemical Safety and Chemical Handling.

SCHEDULE
- This is a full-time position working the overnight shift Monday-Friday. May be required to work some weekends.
