Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Response in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, support badge control activities, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry in accordance with site policies; assist with visitor management, badge procedures, and delivery coordination as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced technology, media, and telecommunications environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
