Weekend Shift Friday thru Sunday, 6am - 6pm 

POSITION DESCRIPTION 

This position will oversee the preventative maintenance for all Mann Lake mechanical systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Provide preventative maintenance service on all mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Ensure there is compliance and mechanical integrity.
  • Maintain and track equipment service manuals and parts lists.
  • Develop and update PM procedures of equipment.
  • Perform dedicated tasks in support of maintenance daily operations.
  • Plan work and solve problems.
  • Manage spare part inventory and ordering parts.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • High school diploma or GED, required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance role required.
  • Experience in welding, fabricating, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs required.
  • Valid driver’s license, required.
  • A high level of mechanical aptitude and knowledge is required.
  • Well organized and good attention to detail.
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Must be highly self-motivated with good safety habits.
  • Ability to work regularly and dependably.
  • Ability to collaborate and function in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate ability to cope with stress and maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrate ability to perform mental tasks such as making decisions, learning, thinking rationally and exercising good judgment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS  

  • Ability to effectively communicate with others both written and orally, including the telephone. 
  • This position is located in the warehouse and plant, with varying temperatures depending on the season.
  • Mobility within the work facility. 
  • Use of hands and fingers fully; reach for, manipulate, and feel objects; stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl; stoop, lay, bend or squat for long periods of time.
  • Lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs
