About the Role:

Mina Abadeer DPM PC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our podiatry practice in Hackensack, NJ. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your clinical career in a patient-focused environment where your contributions truly make a difference every day.

Responsibilities:

Assist the podiatrist with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
Prepare and room patients, recording vital signs and medical histories
Sterilize and maintain medical instruments and exam room supplies
Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and coordinate referrals
Handle patient check-in/check-out and verify insurance information
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR)
Communicate with patients regarding follow-up care and instructions

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) preferred
Prior experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred
Familiarity with podiatry or specialty medical practice is a plus
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
