About the Position:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated engineer to join the systems team. The Test Automation Engineer will have an opportunity to work with some of the most seasoned minds in electrical engineering. This position will work in a dynamic environment with an interdisciplinary team to develop systems for testing State-of-the-art Industrial power supplies.
The Test Automation Engineer will analyze requirements, develop software and hardware solutions, and build and deploy test systems. ATDI is looking for a collaborative individual with strong software expertise and Electrical engineering industry experience who thrives on solving complex problems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, Develop and deploy automated test systems for Industrial power supplies
- Collaborate with design engineers and management to interpret test requirements and develop implementation plan
- Perform hands-on implementation and integration of complex hardware and software systems
- Develop scalable software architecture and instrumentation drivers for windows platforms
- Work with team members to troubleshoot and maintain production test stations
- Design and interpret electrical schematics and user Manuals.
- Develop, maintain, and support detailed test station documentation
- Adapt to shifting priorities and work in a fast paced environment
Qualifications:
- Software development experience in languages such as C#.Net, Python and LabVIEW
- Experience with Source Control tools such as Git
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a systematic approach to diagnosing complex electrical and software issues
- Experience with Industrial Communication protocols such as: Modbus, Serial, Ethernet, GPIB, EtherCAT, DeviceNet, CAN etc.
- Experience developing drivers/software modules for instruments such as DMM, Oscilloscope, DAQ, Power Supplies etc.
- Experience with vision systems (Cognex/OpenCV), test measurement equipment or Linux OS is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with test automation

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Salary Range: $90,000-$100,000
