We are currently seeking a dedicated Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate opening in Netcong, NJ. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide skilled, one-on-one care for a 4-year-old girl while working alongside a supportive and experienced pediatric clinical team.
Patient Information
- Age: 4-year-old girl
- Diagnosis: Cerebral Palsy, Seizure Disorder, Tracheostomy/Ventilator (T/V), GJ Tube, Nebulizer, Chest Vest, Cough Assist, and Suction
Schedule
- Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM ā 7:00 PM
- Tuesday & Friday: 7:00 AM ā 11:00 PM
Pay
- $45.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the client's home
- Monitor the client's health, safety, and overall well-being
- Administer medications and treatments according to the physician's plan of care
- Manage and monitor the patient's tracheostomy/ventilator, GJ tube, nebulizer treatments, chest vest therapy, cough assist, and suctioning as needed
- Accurately document all nursing services provided
- Collaborate with the family and clinical team to deliver exceptional patient care
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey RN license
- Preferred: At least 1 year of pediatric experience in home care or acute care
- Current BLS certification
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Physical completed within the past 12 months
- Current PPD or QuantiFERON within the past 12 months (or chest X-ray completed within the past 5 years)
- Proof of MMR immunization within the past 10 years
- Proof of influenza vaccination or an approved medical exemption
