The Operations & Security Technician provides high level systems monitoring and troubleshooting for Novva Data Centers. This role serves as the first line of support for Novva customers as well as provides logistical support for the facility. Main areas of responsibility include monitoring of IT, mechanical and power infrastructure systems. Provide timely response with basic troubleshooting and escalations where needed. Follow established processes for resolution to incidents, onboarding of new customers, provisioning of security credentials, and escorting individuals into the data center as needed. Other duties include maintaining entry logs, performing perimeter and facility checks to ensure overall site security and cleanliness. Applicants should have excellent customer service skills with attention to detail. Onsite training will be provided over first

Responsibilities:Â

- Monitor and respond to onsite access activity via CCTV and access control software.Â
- Monitor and respond to alerts from various system monitoring toolsÂ
- Identify critical system issues with large scale impact and escalate appropriately
- Provide professional and timely customer serviceÂ
- Assist customers with troubleshooting and service requests.Â
- Respond to incidents and requests via phone and IT ticketing systemÂ
- Understand basic Windows application/OSI Layer 1 troubleshooting principlesÂ
- Provide support to internal teamsÂ
- Receive/offload facility deliveriesÂ
