As an Avionics Technician, you will use your skills and expertise to perform avionics maintenance according to FCC, FAA and company policies and regulations. You'll assist with installing, testing, troubleshooting and repairing avionics components, and maintaining test equipment, tools, and manuals.The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Currently serving as active duty military and be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Basic understanding of applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawingsÂ
- Familiarity with avionics installation tooling
- Exposure to wiring, wiring repair, and wiring installation
- Experience with soldering and crimping techniques
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Familiarity with FCC and FCC GROL
- Basic understanding of spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pitot static equipment
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US MilitaryÂ
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $22.95 - $31.56. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
