SNC's Military Fellowship Program partners with programs such as SkillBridge and Hiring Our Heroes to provide fellowship opportunities to service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. These fellowships include up to six months of on-the-job industry training for eligible service members. During this time, participants gain valuable work experience in the civilian sector and build professional networks as they prepare for their transition to full-time civilian work.

NOTE: You must be currently serving on active duty to be eligible for this fellowship program. This program is not for veterans who have already separated from the military.

As a Project Coordinator, you should have intermediate time management and communication skills as you will collaborate with vendors, suppliers, other stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines. Your main responsibilities will be to coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information, break projects into actionable tasks and set timeframes, liaise with stakeholders to facilitate project execution and assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management. You'll also ensure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve, help prepare budgets, analyze risks and opportunities, monitor project progress and address issues that arise via proper communication and escalation. Additionally, you will act as a point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders, work with the Program Manager to remove road blocks, use tools to monitor and control performance, plans and expenditures and create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and status reports.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Currently serving as active duty military and be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, and typically 2+ years of relevant experience

    • A higher level degree may substitute for experience

    • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education

  • Fundamental MS Office Skills

  • Ability to manage time effectively

  • Demonstrated ownership of tasks, organization skills and attention to detail 

  • Possess strong communication and client-facing, teamwork skills

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security clearance 

Qualifications We Prefer:

Prior Experience with: 
· Development of proposals to include administrative tasks as assigned
· Data entry into PM Systems
· Collaborating with internal Leadership,  vendors, suppliers, other stakeholders, and internal teams, such as IPT leads, CAMs, Tech Leads and PA’s to ensure program activities will accomplish objectives
· Conflict resolution especially those related to resource assignments
· Monitoring project progress against baseline schedule and facilitating process improvement initiatives

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $30.35 - $41.73. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
