About the Role:
Rusty Hooks Dockside Grill is looking for an energetic and personable Bartender to join our team in the charming coastal town of Southport, NC! If you love crafting great drinks, creating memorable guest experiences, and working in a lively atmosphere, this is the opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
- Greet and engage customers, creating a welcoming and enjoyable bar experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar station throughout each shift
- Process guest orders and payments accurately using a POS system
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and adhere to responsible service guidelines
- Collaborate with kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth, efficient service
- Assist with bar inventory, restocking, and opening/closing duties
Requirements:
- Previous bartending or bar service experience preferred
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, and wine
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must meet minimum age requirement to serve alcohol in North Carolina
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
