About the Role:

Rusty Hooks Dockside Grill is looking for a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team in Southport, NC. If you love the fast-paced energy of a busy kitchen and take pride in putting out great food, this is the opportunity for you. Responsibilities:

Prepare and execute menu items consistently and efficiently during service
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift
Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and plating standards with precision
Coordinate with fellow line cooks and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage of ingredients
Adhere to all food safety and health code regulations

Requirements:

Prior experience as a line cook, prep cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking techniques
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
Reliable, punctual, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
