About the Role:
Rusty Hooks Dockside Grill is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Servers to join our team in the charming coastal town of Southport, NC! If you love delivering great food and even better hospitality, this is the perfect opportunity to be part of a welcoming dining experience. Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a warm, professional manner to create a positive first impression
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff
- Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring order accuracy
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including daily specials, ingredients, and allergens
- Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Keep tables, service areas, and dining room clean and properly set at all times
Requirements:
- Previous serving or food & beverage experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Must be able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must meet minimum age requirements for serving alcohol per NC state law
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and reliable work ethic
