Vanderlande Logistics LLC is seeking experienced mechanical and electrical controls technicians in support of the team located in San Francisco, California International Airport location for Maintenance Technician Level II opportunities. This position requires experience and knowledge in the responsibilities as outlined.聽
Responsibilities:
- Performing maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of the Baggage Handling Systems and their associated components and providing accurate and timely written reports of safety, operational, and maintenance activities.聽
- Must have the ability to interpret data and suggest maintenance schedule/activity adjustments to the Manager.聽
- Update daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance activity schedules.
Physical requirements聽include but聽are not limited聽to lifting (50 to 100 pounds), bending, reaching, climbing, walking, crawling, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, speaking, sight, and/or hearing to complete the job duties.
Required Skills / Education:
路聽 聽 聽 聽Experience: 2-5 years of experience.
路聽 聽 聽 聽Education Required: HS Diploma or GED required.
路聽 聽 聽 聽Electro-Electronics / Mechanical skills required.
路聽 聽 聽 聽Excellent Customer Relations skills.
路聽 聽 聽 聽Adhere to all safety regulations and safe work practices.
路聽 聽 聽 聽Mechanical troubleshooting skills including but not limited to belts, bearings, pulleys, drives, and gearmotors.
路聽 聽 聽 聽Industrial electrical troubleshooting skills including 480V three phase motor and control circuits, electrical schematic print reading, variable frequency drives, motor starters, and input/output systems.
路聽 聽 聽 聽Working knowledge of PLC systems and operations.
路聽 聽 聽 聽Familiarity with high level control systems SCADA systems, and network architecture including servers, ethernet, fiber optic, network switches (ethernet, fiber), workstations, and barcode scanning systems.
路聽 聽 聽 聽Maintenance management software skills including generating and completing preventive and corrective maintenance, scheduling maintenance, and tracking inventory.
路聽 聽 聽 聽Valid driver license with clean MVR highly desirable.
路聽 聽 聽 聽Ability to pass all background checks and security screenings per airport requirements.

- The starting pay rate for this position is $38.00. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
