JOB PURPOSE:

Create, store, update and maintain CAD drawings for mill mechanical, structural, controls, and electrical equipment.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare drawings of mechanical, structural, controls, -and electrical equipment
  • Revise drawings and markups appropriately to support mechanical and electrical maintenance
  • Develop utility standards and mill CAD drafting standards
  • Maintain and update electronic drawings and documents
  • Compile and organize drawing blocks, parts and specific details
  • Update and document equipment and building drawings
  • Develop layouts, drawings and designs
  • Ensure compliance with drafting and engineering standards


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient with Autodesk Autocad and Dassault Solidworks CAD software,
  • Analytical problem-solving abilities,
  • Professional, effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, 
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize,
  • Preferred: Industrial CAD experience, Pulp & Paper experience, and/or machine design experience.
