JOB PURPOSE:
Create, store, update and maintain CAD drawings for mill mechanical, structural, controls, and electrical equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare drawings of mechanical, structural, controls, -and electrical equipment
- Revise drawings and markups appropriately to support mechanical and electrical maintenance
- Develop utility standards and mill CAD drafting standards
- Maintain and update electronic drawings and documents
- Compile and organize drawing blocks, parts and specific details
- Update and document equipment and building drawings
- Develop layouts, drawings and designs
- Ensure compliance with drafting and engineering standards
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient with Autodesk Autocad and Dassault Solidworks CAD software,
- Analytical problem-solving abilities,
- Professional, effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills,Â
- Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize,
- Preferred: Industrial CAD experience, Pulp & Paper experience, and/or machine design experience.
