Reads and interprets blueprints. Uses software to capture truss geometry and incorporates structured requirements of truss. Produces written quotes. Reviews final design and release to shop. Uses CSD Accounting software to produce order. Assists in answering incoming calls. Assists customers in facility. Sizes beams on demand. Participates in other various duties or daily activities. Qualifications Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to read limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to see color.
