Position Summary 

The Dietary Aide will be responsible for essential duties including the reheating and serving of food trays to the patient units; working tray line; serving employees and patients in the dining room, and other general cleaning tasks within the Dietary Department. 

Qualifications

Requirements of the Dietary Aide: 

• High School Diploma/GED Required. 

• Previous food service aide experience is helpful. 

• Ability to follow diet lists, portion food as specified and serve food in an appetizing manner. 

• Effective verbal and written English communication skills. 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Dietary Aide: 

• Collaborate in the preparation of special meals and events, including pot washing and restocking. 

• Handle food and equipment responsibly according to sanitation policies and procedures 

• Skillfully deliver and collect meal trays with precision and attention to detail. 

• Provide an enhanced dining service, serving meals in dining rooms and preparing and delivering snacks as directed. 

• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures. 

• Adhere to sanitary regulations and uphold our established policies and procedures in food preparation.
