Intervention Specialist- '26-27 School Year

Location: Hamilton, OH 45011

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Intervention Specialist for an outstanding charter school client in Hamilton, Ohio. This is an onsite full-time contract position serving Elementary and Middle school students in the northern Cincinnati area.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students

- Provide specialized instruction and support to help students achieve academic and social goals

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing learning environment

- Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities

- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly

Skills:

- Proven experience as an Intervention Specialist

- Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and educational methodology

- Familiarity with SameGoal software

- Excellent communication and instructional skills

- Cool-tempered, friendly, reliable, and adaptable

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field)

- Valid state (OH) teaching certification/license as an Intervention Specialist

- Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations
