What Drives Success

The Assembler/Material Handler is responsible for supporting both production and warehouse operations by assembling products to specification while ensuring materials are safely moved, staged, and supplied to production areas to maintain an efficient workflow.

 

Job Duties:

  • Fabricating and assembling components, operating assembly equipment and small machinery, interpreting work orders and blueprints, inspecting product quality, packaging finished goods and kits, and meeting daily production goals.
  • In addition, the position is responsible for supplying raw materials to production, transporting materials and finished goods throughout the facility, loading and organizing pallets, supporting inventory activities, and maintaining accurate material flow between warehouse and manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, report equipment issues or product defects, and assist other departments as operational needs require.
  • Ensure the inspection of material as it is being fabricated.
  • Maintain and record daily production and production quotas.
  • Notify the supervisor and/or team lead when a machine is not working properly.
  • Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • What We Are Looking For

    Additional Requirements

    • Must be able to read a tape measure.
    • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must be able to assist in other areas/departments when there is downtime.
    • Must be able to work a 8 hour/ 5 day work schedule.
    • Must be flexible – OT and weekends are required as needed.
    • Must be able to read and write.

    Education

    • High School Diploma or equivalent

     

    Experience

    • A minimum of 1-2 years manufacturing experience.

     

    Physical Requirements

    • Must be in good physical condition.
    • Must have good eye/hand coordination.
    • Must be able to lift 25 to 50 lbs routinely.
    • Must be able to stand and or bend for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)
    • Use of one or both feet or legs to move controls on machinery or equipment. Controls include, but are not limited to pedals, buttons, levers, and cranks.
    • Holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise work with hand(s). Note: Fingers are involved only to the extent that they are an extension of the hand to hold or operate a tool such as pliers.

    What We Offer

    Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $15.00-$19.00/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).

    Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 10 days paid time off, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
