Summary

The Pharmacy Coordinator plays a critical role supporting all things pharmacy at PHS. With strong organizational skills, high accountability, and consistent follow-through, the Pharmacy Coordinator partners with the Director of Pharmacy to track and ensure all pharmacy licenses, registrations, and contracts are up to date and accurate. This includes all in-house pharmacy licenses, contracts, and registrations. The Pharmacy Coordinator will also have a large role in ensuring all pharmacy operations run smoothly by supporting pharmacy staff through training, direct communication, and overall support as needed.


 A Day in the Life 

 

Pharmacy Initiatives

· Track and monitor all pharmacy licenses with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and other regulatory agencies to ensure they are up to date and compliant

· Actively reinforce compliance, best practices, and Policies and Procedures at direction of the Director of Pharmacy with pharmacy staff

· Support the Director of Pharmacy in communication with all in-house pharmacy teams including pharmacist schedules and ensuring coverage at all stores

· Onboard and train new In-house pharmacy employees

· Organize and tracking of key performance indicators and compliance metrics for pharmacy operations

· Assist pharmacy staff as needed and at the direction of the Director of Pharmacy to support safe and effective prescription services.
