The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed hospital in Hamilton, TX to hire a skilled and dependable Respiratory Therapist to join their Respiratory Care team.

In this role you will provide high-quality respiratory care under the supervision of a physician and the Director of Respiratory by administering prescribed cardiopulmonary treatments, performing diagnostic procedures, and supporting the maintenance and safety of respiratory therapy equipment.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform respiratory therapy treatments under physician direction
  • Conduct pulmonary function testing & administer gas, aerosol, and IPPB therapies
  • Perform arterial blood gas collection and analysis
  • Maintain airways, assist with secretion removal and manage & monitor patients on ventilators
  • Perform ECGs and support result interpretation
  • Assess patient needs and provide age-appropriate respiratory care per departmental policy
  • Maintain, sterilize, and prepare respiratory equipment for patient care
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, charges, and departmental records
  • Maintain confidentiality, patient service, and infection control and safety standards

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Current Texas CRT or RRT license and CPR certification
  • Knowledge of cardiopulmonary equipment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • One year of respiratory therapy experience preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, move equipment, and assist patients as needed
