Registered Nurse opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!!

Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill a Resource RN position.   The Resource RN evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care;  Assists physicians during examinations and procedures;  Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse;  Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.

The RN in this position must complete competencies to work independently in Medical-Surgical and at least one other of the following areas: Intensive Care Unit/ Emergency Department.

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Education:  Graduate of an accredited school of nursing BSN or ADN, current Montana or compact license per Montana Board of Nursing Regulations.  License in good standing without disciplinary action or investigation.
  • Licensure and Certifications:   Basic Life Support ACLS and PALS required, NRP, STABLE, and TNCC, ATCN or ENPC within 2 years of hire.
  • Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:  Candidates must have effective communication skills; computer Skills/EMR experience preferred

 

Schedule:  Full-time, 36 hours/week, variable shifts
