AWS Information Infrastructure Pre-Apprenticeship
This is a pre-apprenticeship opportunity.
This is an onsite opportunity in Hamlet, North Carolina.
About this position
Looking to kickstart your career in information infrastructure? Be part of this exciting opportunity that equips participants with the skills needed for careers that construct, connect, power, and manage the infrastructure supporting the information economy. Spanning 4 weeks and totaling 120 hours of instruction, this program covers vital workplace skills, foundational knowledge in electrical, mechanical, fiber-optic, and operational domains. It emphasizes practical, hands-on learning led by industry experts. Upon completion, participants will receive an industry-recognized OSHA 10 certification and the AWS I2PA certificate.
What you’ll learn:
• Comprehensive introductory training on internet infrastructure fundamentals.
• Learn to read and interpret technical documents, diagrams, and schematics.
• Hands-on experience under the supervision of experienced technicians.
• Safety training specific to the industry.
• Continuous feedback and support to help you grow and develop in your role.
What we are looking for:
• Problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Reliability and punctuality in attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
• An Interest in technology and a willingness to learn new skills.
