This job is in the Plant family (Department), which includes positions responsible for supervising or performing work
metals processing and distribution work. Work includes specialized equipment operation and/or supporting functions and
requires a practical knowledge of the nature and operations and the materials, facilities and methods employed by
Phoenix Metals in metals processing and distribution.

Function in the Job
Sedentary Work- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Job Function

路 Responsible for overseeing all activities directly related to overall operations.
路 Directs and coordinates all production and distribution activities for the organization.
路 Reviews financial statements, warehouse production and expenses reports, activity reports, and other
performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction
and program improvement.
路 Has direct responsibility over warehouse safety, housekeeping and preventative maintenance programs.
路 Establishes and implements organizational policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with other
members of management and staff members.
路 Manages staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.
路 Leads, coaches, and mentors operations staff while managing resource allocation and staffing.
路 Develops production goals, objectives, and systems, and recommends necessary changes.
路 Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of
operations and re-evaluates them for cost effectiveness.
路 Develops and promotes feedback mechanisms for employees to influence the continuous improvement.
路 Responsible for adhering to/ensuring compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
路 All other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Required Skills
路0-5 years of management experience or any equivalent combination of education and inventory management or
relevant operations experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
路 High School diploma/GED required, Associate degree in Business or related field preferred.
路 Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, cost, inventory and quality management, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing and distribution of goods required.
路 Understanding of company product(s) and their uses required.
路 Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively required. 路 Excellent oral and written communication skills required. 路 Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.
路 Ability to make sound decisions based on a combination of factors including analysis, knowledge and experience, and judgment required.
路 Ability to initiate and maintain cooperative relationships with co-workers as well as internal/external customers required.
路 Basic computer proficiency and working knowledge of software applications required.
