Position: Board Eligible/Board Certified Neurologist

Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Neurologist to join our expanding team and address the increasing demand for Neurology services near the Illinois border. This position offers a unique chance to practice in a vibrant community with easy access to downtown Chicago, providing a diverse patient population and an excellent work-life balance.


Position Details:

  • Schedule: Full-time, Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Call Schedule: Flexible
  • Facility: State-of-the-art with cutting-edge equipment
  • Mentorship: Strong mentoring program from experienced physicians, fostering professional growth and development.


Common Diagnoses & Procedures:
  • Coordination problems
  • Muscle weakness
  • Sensory issues (e.g., Neuropathy)
  • Cognitive disorders (e.g., Dementia)
  • Dizziness and balance problems
  • Seizure disorders (e.g., Epilepsy)
  • Stroke management
  • Alzheimer's disease treatment
  • Spinal cord disorder management
  • Geriatric neurology
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Botox injections for neuromuscular conditions
  • Neuromuscular disorders
  • EMG and EEG services


Requirements


  • Education: Completion of a U.S. Residency Program.
  • Training: Completion of Fellowship training.
  • Certification: Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Neurology.
  • Licensure: Active or pending Indiana State License.
  • Experience: Prior experience is advantageous, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
