Who You Are:Â
You’re someone who enjoys working with food and being part of a team. In this role, you’ll help prep, cook, and package cannabis-infused edible products while following clear recipes and safety steps. You take pride in keeping things clean, organized, and on time so patients and customers get high-quality products when they need them.Â
What You’ll Do:Â
As a Kitchen Technician at Curaleaf, you will:Â
- Prep, cook, and package cannabis-infused edible productsÂ
- Operate, clean, and care for kitchen equipment and work areasÂ
- Follow recipes and step-by-step procedures to complete production orders with accuracy and consistent qualityÂ
- Keep simple, accurate records to track product quality and meet state regulationsÂ
- Follow food-safety guidelines (GMP, HACCP) and company quality standards every dayÂ
- Wear the required protective gear (PPE) and maintain excellent hygieneÂ
- Help introduce new systems and processes that improve how edibles are madeÂ
- Work in a professional prep-kitchen environment alongside a supportive teamÂ
What You’ll Bring:Â
- You can sit or stand for up to 10 hours a day and have steady hand–eye coordination with excellent hand dexterityÂ
- You can safely bend, lift, and stoop throughout your shift, including lifting and carrying up to 30 lbsÂ
- You have strong attention to detail, follow directions well, and maintain consistency across large volumes of productsÂ
- You are adaptable, flexible, and thrive as a collaborative team playerÂ
- You have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalentÂ
Even Better If:Â
- You have previous restaurant, food service, or kitchen experienceÂ
- You have or can obtain a valid ServeSafe certification
Physical Requirements Â
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time (8-10 hours per shift) Â
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and occasional lifting of heavier items with assistance Â
- Frequent and repetitive use of hands and wrists for extended periods of time Â
- Repetitive bending, squatting, and reaching Â
- Ability to climb ladders or step stools to access plants or equipment Â
- Ability to use required PPE when required, such as masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, scrubs, non-slip shoes, and Tyvek suits as necessary Â
Environmental Conditions Â
- Exposure to environments with high humidity, varying temperatures, and strong odors (such as cannabis) Â
- Exposure to soil, water, fertilizer, dust, pollen and plant pathogens Â
- Exposure to cleaning solvents, such as high volumes of isopropyl alcohol Â
- Exposure to loud noises, including but not limited to air compressors, packaging equipment, and alarms Â
- Exposure to CO2 manufacturing procedures at OSHA approved CO2 levels Â
