Schedules and Monitors Field Services: schedules contracted personnel for work at remote site facilities, actively tracking project progress to completion while ensuring vendors meet contractual SLAs for response times, resolution standards, and onsite performance.
Leads Vendor Reviews: Participates in weekly and monthly meetings with vendors to review service delivery, address performance issues, and ensure accountability.
Assists with Contract Strategy: Supports the monitoring and negotiation of site-specific contracts with telecommunications, hardware, and cabling providers.
Coordinates Moves & Emergency Repairs: Manages all end-to-end requests for new hardware, equipment relocations, and emergency response calls related to site cabling, wiring, and phone infrastructure.
Maintains Inventories: Oversees central inventory reserves and tracks all remote site assets, including thin clients, displays, keyboards, printers, server racks, routers, switches, power management, and remote access hardware.
Updates Facility Floor Plans: Keeps updated, accurate site floor plans for all client locations to share with technicians during maintenance and hardware installations.
Reviews Telecom Invoices: Reviews and processes monthly telephone invoices for remote
access lines, accurately entering data into tracking systems for fiscal oversight.
Tracks Costs & Service Logs: Maintains records of vendor service calls, resolution reports, equipment changes, and costs using specialized spreadsheets and tracking tools.
Serves as Primary Liaison: Communicates with client's Administrators, Managers, and IT leadership throughout the service request process.
Supports Procurement & Process Development: Contributes to the creation of ITBs/RFPs, lifecycle management plans, pricing analyses, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for asset workflows and vendor dispatching.
Collaborates Across Teams: Partners with fellow Asset Coordinators to assist with circuit ordering, mobile wireless device provisioning, ticket tracking in TICKETS, and asset recording in the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS), serving as a fully cross-trained backup for overall team operations.
Requirements
Associate’s degree in an information technology field; AND
2+ years of experience in IT hardware and software installation, operation, and maintenance.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive)
Working knowledge of Visio highly preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to pass a satisfactory criminal background check
