Day shift hours: Typically 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Hours may vary depending on program's needs.

The Program Coordinator reports directly to the Program Director.  Key duties include:

  • Oversight of operations of the Devereux Hampton, GA Community Residential Program, including appropriate staffing levels, coaching and leadership of staff. 
  • Ensures that program delievery meets compliance of all regulatory agencies ( DFCS, OPM, ORCC, JC, etc.).  
  • Develops processess for program improvement.
  • Available and accessible/on call 24 hours each day. 
  • Completes Performance Reviews. Provides training and coaching for new leadership staff.  
  • Assist with the coordination of training with Devereux learning manager to include to initial orientation, annual training and other trainings as scheduled. Coordinate random medication audits with nursing. Responsible for  making hiring decisions. Responsible for reviewing and approvaing all off-site activities for youth to ensure safety and appropriate staffing. 

 

Salary: $47,000-$60,000

Qualifications

You'd make a great Program Coordinator if you have:

  • Bachelors degree, Master's preferred in social work, psychology, childhood education
  • Two + years experience in a mental health, group home and/or other room, board and watchful oversight setting working with youth and adolescents preferred.
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of initiative, accountability and professionalism.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to multi task and be deadline driven.
