We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide enterprise level project integration, schedule management, and governance support to assist the NASA Technical Point of Contact and Enterprise IT leadership in communicating and coordinating the schedule, roadmap, initiatives, dependencies, and goals across multiple Enterprise IT projects. The ideal candidate possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience engaging in cross-organizational leadership, clients, partners, directorates, vendors, and internal IT stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain an integrated master schedule and enterprise IT roadmap that accurately reflects active projects, milestones, initiatives, and interdependencies.
Identify, track, and communicate project requirements, risks, issues, and cross‑project dependencies, ensuring visibility across stakeholders and leadership.
Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, project managers, program managers, OCIO, OSI, and contract support teams to ensure consistent communication and alignment.
Collaborate with OSI contract support and program managers to identify risks, dependencies, mitigation strategies, and organizational impacts.
Align and reconcile technical requirements across IT projects to identify efficiencies, duplication, interoperability implications, and impacts to enterprise architecture.
Assist in developing and aligning enterprise data strategy efforts, including identifying/reconciling data requirements, dependencies, reporting needs, and governance considerations.
Develop and maintain a living enterprise dashboard or reporting plan that provides real‑time visibility into project status, milestones, risks, and requirements.
Facilitate coordination between OCIO and OSI across all phases of IT project management—planning, execution, reporting, governance, and reviews.
Support IT governance processes by gathering, documenting, and reporting required artifacts, status updates, and executive‑level briefings.
Prepare executive‑level reports, briefings, and communications to support leadership decision‑making across NASA enterprise IT initiatives.
Please Note:Â Candidate selected must live within 50 miles of Hampton, VA. Candidate may be required to come into the office on occasion.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, OR related field with 8+ years of prior relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
Minimum 8 years of experience in project management OR enterprise IT program support.
Demonstrated experience managing enterprise‑scale schedules, roadmaps, and interdependent IT initiatives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience supporting leadership and cross‑organizational stakeholder engagement.
Experience with enterprise governance processes and reporting requirements.
Ability to analyze and communicate project risks, impacts, and mitigation strategies.
Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills.
US Citizenship is required and able to obtain at minimum Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting federal enterprise IT organizations, including NASA, OCIO, or OSI.
Experience with enterprise portfolio management tools, integrated master scheduling tools, or dashboard/reporting platforms.
Familiarity with enterprise architecture concepts, data governance, and data strategy alignment.
Please note:  The program budget for this role is expected to fall between approximately mid/high $90,000 to mid/high $130,000, with a slight wiggle room (no guarantees) based on relevant experience and assessment. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.Â

Pay Range:
