Experience:

Provide clinical nursing, and technical knowledge, skills, and expertise required for the provision and continuity of comprehensive neurological and stroke patient care

The Stroke Program Coordinator is responsible for overall hospital stroke program management in collaboration with the Stroke Medical Director.

The Stroke Program Coordinator will ensure the assessment, management, implementation, and evaluation of interventions set forth by accrediting agencies for disease specific program certifications and CMS. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations of the organization's philosophy, policies, procedures and standards.

Stroke Patients-Incumbents are required to be knowledgeable of the standards of care for the stroke patients and meet the annual educational requirements set forth by the System for certified stroke centers.
