Job DetailsJob Location: Heartland Farms Headquarters - Hancock, WI 54943Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $25.00 - $35.00Industrial Maintenance Technician II The Industrial Maintenance Technician II will be responsible for repairing and maintaining plant equipment. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing hydraulic equipment, mechanical systems and equipment throughout the facility. Ensures production equipment is maintained to maximize machine productivity and minimize downtime.QualificationsCore Responsibilities: Sets up, installs, repairs, and maintains plant machinery and equipment. Troubleshoots and repairs machines and equipment. Uses work order system to initiate and track repairs. Welds/cuts/grinds metals for repair/ light fabrication. Reads and works from electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, maintenance manuals, and parts lists to repair and install equipment. Utilizes multimeters and test equipment as required. Installs/moves machines, equipment, and required electrical equipment. Assists in training of less experienced maintenance personnel. Rebuilds/modifies machines and equipment as required. Safely performs work using ladders and lifts as required. Accepts and supports the safety program. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Possess diagnostic and repair skills with the understanding of mechanical and hydraulic functions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read mechanical drawing, hydraulic and electrical schematics. Ability to read and efficiently use a wide range of precision mechanical measurement devices. Ability to work in a team environment. Possess basic computer and technology skills. Ability to quickly learn new concepts and techniques. Possess basic application of industrial electoral distribution and motor control circuits and resolve complex electrical problems. Ability to safely operate heavy equipment including but not limited to tractors, skid steers, payloaders, etc. Education & Experience: Combined 3+ years of machine repair, maintenance, or electrical systems experience. Formal training in ARC, MIG, TIG welding.  Experience in A/C, D/C., motor controls, and VFD drives. Experience with Automation, PLCs I/O, HMI interface, and Ethernet preferred. Advanced education in mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, or machine design is strongly preferred. Must have a valid and current driver’s license with a clean record. High School Diploma required. Physical Requirements: Requires the ability to work on-site and in multiple locations and settings. Requires the ability to clearly understand verbal and written communication from others in person and by telephone. Requires the ability to climb and work from ladders and other elevated platforms to inspect, assess, and diagnose rinsing, sorting, conveying and loading equipment. Must be a minimum of 18 years old. Work Schedule: The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Technician II can reasonably expect to work 5 days each week, though given the scope of this position it is understood that this role is an on-call position and may be required to work occasionally in the evenings or on weekends if needed. The Plant generally operates 7 days per week.  Hours: 6:30am to 3:30pm Compensation: The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Technician II position pay range is $25 to $35.00 per hour. Work Location: This position is located at Heartland Farms, Inc. 907 3rd Avenue Hancock, WI 54943 (Shipping Plant). The facility is approximately: Less than 20-minutes from Bancroft, Coloma, or Plainfield. About 30 minutes from Adams, Almond, Necedah, Nekoosa, Wautoma, Westfield, or Wild Rose. About 35-40 minutes from Red Granite, Stevens Point, or Wisconsin Rapids.
