Job DetailsJob Location: Triple C Trucking, Inc. - HANFORD, CA 93230Salary Range: $21.00 - $25.00 HourlyWe are looking for a motivated Level I Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals with a foundational understanding of diesel mechanics who are eager to learn and grow in the field. You will work under the supervision of experienced mechanics to develop your skills and gain hands-on experience.   Daily Responsibilities: Assist in the maintenance and repair of diesel engines and related systems. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment. Help diagnose mechanical issues under the guidance of senior mechanics. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools. Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used. Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times. Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge. Qualifications  High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in diesel mechanics preferred. Basic understanding of diesel engines and mechanical systems. Strong willingness to learn and take direction. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred. Physical Requirements: Perform physical tasks, including climbing, standing, sitting, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching. Ability to lift heavy equipment up to 80 lbs. Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoor and indoor settings.
